This website has a database of over 550 companies that need ordinary people to give their opinion for marketing research purposes. Membership costs US $24.95 to $49.95.
Hits for Pay
An email marketing program that pays you .02 US for every email that you read. Refer other people and get paid a commision for every email they read too! This doesn't seem like a whole lot of money at first, but it can add up if you've got nothing to do but hang around in an internet cafe.

If you run one or more web sites, you can add content-specific advertisements on your page(s) and generate profit based on user clickthroughs (as seen on this page, left column). Skype is a free VOIP (voice over internet protocal) service that allows you to use your computer as an international phone and dial other users anywhere in the world. You can also dial out to regular phones (extra cost) and sign up for a land line phone number (extra cost) in many different countries that will ring through your Skype application. It works really wel if you need a land line in one country but live in another or want to talk to other users anywhere in the world for free. PC/MAC compatible.
Gizmo Project
Gizmo is a newer Skype alternative that is gaining popularity. It doesn't have as many users as Skype but it's more feature rich and offers cheaper calling options. It also doesn't have some of the privacy issues that Skype has. I'm currently using Gizmo more as I prefer its features and interface. PC/MAC/Linux compatible.
