DHTML layers were introduced as a feature in GoLive way back in version 3.0. At that time, I was part of the Web team that launched a brand new Web site for GoLive Systems that showcased scrolling DHTML images on its home page. Perhaps some folks remember the old GoLive site with the scrolling HTML code in the background? While the home page text and images remained static, faded-out HTML code appeared to continuously scroll in the background. It was a pretty cool effect. So many folks have asked me how this was done over the years that I decided to include this project on scrolling animated layers.
